Dutch illustrator, Parra, gave his imagined mythical creatures and characters some skateboards, and dreamed about what would happen next. The result then found themselves onto t-shirt designs for the illustrator’s new collaboration with VANS, on some Fall/Winter 09 collection tees. Some Fowl-like creatures and men with beaks sat on skateboards, hugged skateboards, and of course, rode on skateboards. The tees revisits VANS’ roots in the skateboarding culture which started all the way back in 1966, and adds an arty French twist to it. These t-shirts are now available online at colette.
