Evo Magazine Bugatti Veyron vs Nissan GT R Video

What is the difference between ordinary cars and super cars? The Bugatti Veyron can answer that question with this head to head drag race against Nissan GT-R. It is not fair to call GT-R an ordinary car but against a super car like Veyron, it stands no chance in speed and power. In fact these cars are not even in the same league but take a look at the video and see it for yourself. Evo Magazine has organised a race on an air strip for a stand start drag race as well as moving GT-R against parked Veyron. For your information, Veyron does have two more turbo chargers and double the power of GT-R.

  1. bugatti veyron vs mclaren is something sick too

  2. Add some modifications to the GTR, and then see how it goes. The Bugatti does low 140′s in the quarter. GT-R’s with bolt on mods have done 130-134 mph so far. Getting in the ballpark. Would give a Veyron a run for its money.

Love the GT-R, funny thing is it beats the Bugatti off of the start, GT-R is all wheel drive and Bugatti rear wheel drive. Add twin turbo to the GT-R, it can keep up with the Bugatti and maybe even beat it.

EJ the GT-R is twin turbo but the Veyron is also 4 wheel drive. I agree with Sean, add a few mods and the GT-R could give the Veyron a run for its money.

At approx. 1/10th the price, GT-R does pretty f’n well…

    what a horrible song choice

The drag race was hampered by the fact the launch control for the Bug wasn’t functioning at this point – i’ve read the magazine – and Evo have found that a manual start adds nearly a second to the 0-60.

the catch was a pretty good one as the GT-R was hitting 100mph as it went past the stationary Veyron.

and i don’t think that the GT-R could ever be called an ‘ordinary’ car!
