Kid Robot is a household name for the fans and collectors of vinyl toys and figurines, but had also expanded into something more than ornamental collectibles in the past years. The pop-inspired and playful apparel and accessories line from Kid Robot had grown into a more mature collection of cut-and-sew this fall. The Fall 2009 collection is punk prep and intertwined the graphics of toy artist, MAD, into the design. The lookbook is shot with a mix of street and prep school backdrop by TILT in a raw light.
With a mind to give the Fall 2009 collection and lookbook a concise look and presentation it deserves, Kid Robot enlisted the help of We Are Plus to create a more interactive microsite where fans can check out the lookbook in greater detail with easier access. The microsite has an unfinished collage look to it that translates both simplicity and realism that corresponds to the overall stylistic direction of the lookbook.
Check out the site and the new Kid Robot offerings for fall that had grown beyond graphic tees and hoodies. Kid Robot is all grown up now and not so much of a kid anymore (maybe just a kid at heart).
