Even if “My Name Is Earl” went couture, we wouldn’t have expected it to be as good as the Rober Geller X Levis collaborative capsule collection due to release this coming month on Sep 10. Whilst we had previously previewed looks featuring the pieces styled together in a courageous yet controversial denim-on-denim fashion, here we have a detailed look at the individual pieces that are surprisingly cohesive when paired together.
This collection features everything you can imagine on apparel remade in denim. Western shirts are made in a distressed denim in various fades and mixes of blues; trench coats with technical details are done up in a mysterious inky indigo for a futuristic remix, while some of our all-time shapes– the denim jacket get a vintage flashback with a chunky knit lining. Of course, tees and your standard jeans are available in this capsule collection in a well-washed and worked colorways.
Geller proved to us that denim is not just your average weekend affair and other than the color, there’s nothing blue about these pieces. Check out the collection in Bloomingdales this coming month!
