Oh you insatiable speedsters out there who are not satisfied with BMW Z4's 306hp, Manhart Racing has a solution that may quench your need for speed on the Z4. The German tuner, whose founder Gunther Manhart has 25 years of experience in tweaking BMW engines under his hefty belt, had whittled away the V-10 engine from M5 and M6 into the narrower body of the Z4. With the equivalent of heart transplant for a car, the Z4 is boosted to a zipping 550 hp, and a mind-blowing run from 0-100km/h in just 3.9s. Of course, with such a powerful engine, the original 250km/h speed limit is obliterated.
If you have a Z4 lying around at home that you are dying to get a speedy boost on, hopefully this is an inspiration for a good project to do this year.
