For the 30th Anniversary celebration of http://g-shock.com”>G-Shock, the two Gs partnered up to release two limited edition G-Shocks in the DW-5600 and DW-6900. The special edition white DW-5600 is based on Gundamn RX78-2, the iconic Gundam design as a testbed weapon for Earth Federation. Meanwhile, the red DW-6900 is based on the MS-06S Zaku II Zeon mobile suit that is most common in the beginning of the show.
For the fans of Gundam, the special edition G-Shocks incorporate artwork and elements of the two suits from Gundam on the straps and also a character logo on the stainless steel back. Absolutely to become desirable collectors’ items, these watches will be up for pre-order in the second half of October, and will be available for sale in March 2010.
