Commonly applied as a description for knives with folding blade, Buck Knives, in fact is a registered trademark manufacture of, you guessed, knives. Established by blacksmith Hoyt Buck 103 years ago, the firm became renowned for high quality, hand crafted knives that were reliable. But it was forever linked to one particular model – Buck Folding Hunter Model 110. Developed in 1963, the knife was perfectly weighted, but it was its folding “lockblade” that made it the most copied knife design since.
Included as an accessory for Supreme Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the NYC-base label worked with Buck Knives in creating a pair of Supreme labeled folding knives. Based on Buck Range Model 120, a smaller successor of Model 110. The Supreme Editions will feature the same brass inlay and wood handles with 2 different color wood veneers. A large Supreme logo is then overlay on the handle. The knives, as well as the rest Fall/Winter 2009 Collection will be available staring next week at Supreme boutiques world wide.
