Since its debut in September 2001, Japanese men’s fashion magazine LEON has curved out a niche in the hyper-competitive world of Japanese publication. Focusing on high-end goods and fashion for men, the magazine employed an editorial style usually found on other magazines with younger readers’ demographics, such as Men’s Non-No and HUGE. .
To best illustrate this interesting crossing of luxury lifestyle and emerging trends is the new Trucker Jacket, the 3rd collaboration between Levi’s Japan and LEON. Framed in identical silhouettes as the classic denim trucker jacket, down to pleated folds on front, the jacket is constructed from fine cotton poplin instead. Buttons and rivets in white brass, along with a finished interior lined with Bemberg linings. To differentiate it from other within the Levi’s collection, a special purple marking in satin is sewn on. Comes in black or beige, available now at Levis’ E-Shop online store.
