As the countdown ticked off to the last day, Opening Ceremony‘s new initiative, Opening Ceremony Tokyo, finally opened its door yesterday. Situated on a 7-floor spread in SEIBU MOVIDA, part of 5-building SEIBU Department Store Complex at the heart of trendy Shibuya district. The new store is an extension on Opening Ceremony Los Angeles flagship, a mini-mall that function much more like the shop-in-shop retail concept. Each label/designer could facilitate their design concept beyond their merchandises, onto the presentation of those products within the store. As a whole, to further along OC’s theme driving creed, each of the 7 floors are based on a particular subject matter, with the presentation and the products there to tell the story in an abstract rendition.
