Reebok Global Freestyle Series Hong Kong Hail Heritage Exhibition Preview
“Top Pop”

On September 4th, the Hong Kong leg of Reebok Global Freestyle Series will commence with a photo collage exhibition entitled “Hail Heritage”. The exhibition reflects on Hong Kong’s rich culture and heritage that is slowly fading away by modernization of the city. Stylist Davena Mok and photographer Douglas Young pay tribute to the ever-burgeoning issues of cultural conservancy and antiquity preservation in this fast paced city.

The four part exhibition looks at various aspects of Hong Kong with “Charchaanteng Chronicled” looking at the traditional ‘tea restaurant’, “Top Pop” honoring the golden era of Cantopop culture, “SOS: Save Our Streets” focusing on 150 year old wet market that was to be redeveloped and “Floating Landmark” shot on Hong Kong’s famous century-old Star Ferry which is used for commuting and delighting tourists.
