Thom Browne Spring 2010 red/white/blue | Preview

Suits are not the only thing designer Thom Browne is known for shrinking– at least not any more. The designer will be helping those with shrinking budgets in Spring 2010 with two new lower-priced lines– “red/white/blue” and “classics” (both names are coined for the interim). While we are all wondering what the new lines will entail, here is a preview from the “red/white/blue” line of a sporty jacket in an interesting structured layering cut. The simple white hooded jacket springs to life with red/white/blue details on drawstrings and inner piping. As Browne said, he aims to provide “functional outerwear” that will bode well with “more tailored aspects of [his] collection”. While prices are still to be determined, those interested can expect to pay 30-40 percent less than the designer’s main line. via: men style
