One of the most enjoyable parts about watching The Simpson family’s suburban life in Springfield is the random celebrity cameos. Since the series aired in 1990, Jerry Springer, Dolly Parton, Britney Spears, U2, Lenny Kravitz and Michael Moore have graced the small family from Springfield along with other celebrities.
Format Magazine follows up on the success of their recreation of 20 classic hip hop album covers in LEGO by tapping into The Simpson’s family. The magazine takes on the concept of cameos and Simpsonized 10 hip hop stars–Kanye West, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Notorious B.I.G, Lil’ Wayne, Flava Flav, Andre 3000, Eazy E, Fat Joe–with iconic “O” representations for each artist (check out Kanye’s “Heart” in replacement of the “O”). Created by Canada’s Moxie Creative, both posse and individual shots are available in high resolution for printing.
