Easily one of the most anticipated sneaker releases in recent memory, this retro version of the Air Jordan VI (6) has a lot of people excited. You may have seen the photos we put up a little while back, but now pairs are starting to be made available for sale a few months before the January release date. It’s been nine years since this model was last retroed, and that means that this particular shoe has been on the top of many people’s list for quite some time, as it’s silhouette is one that is simply timeless. The black on black upper appears in suede on this retro, complete with the perforated heel and mid. The sole keeps the icy clear accents in tact on the heel and toe. One change in the color scheme is the use of varsity red in place of infrared above the clear parts of the sole, on the lacelocks, at the top of the rubberized heel, and on the Jordan insignia on the tongue, but that won’t deter many from flocking to buy this shoe. The official release date is in January, but for a few extra dollars, pairs are popping up early at retailers like marqueesole and VMVInc.
