Aside from Kayne West‘s controversial action (which he later apologized for), last night’s MTV Video Music Awards in New York City was about memories and tributes. Starting with Madonna’s eulogy and Janet Jackson’s moving performance honoring her late brother, Michael Jackson to the closing duet from Jay-Z and Alicia Keys celebrating New York City. In between, Kid Cudi added a salute to another artist who recently passed, DJ AM, while rocking a BAPE Baby Milo t-shirt. The hip-hop artist was spotted sporting another Baby Milo shirt, the Baby Milo Animal Print Tee, while rehearsing with Wale before the raucous evening got started.
