Two new dunks are now available, one that has been getting some well-deserved attention and another with some interesting accents. We gave you a preview of this monster Gucci-inspired Dunk release in June, and now they are finally available at Nike Sportswear. With obvious Gucci color inspiration in the deep green, red, and black, this shoe also includes some interesting details worthy of the “Supreme” title. The bright red swoosh has gator embossing throughout, while the smooth leather used on the green portions of the shoe are contrasted with the ostrich bumps on the black, a material made famous on the famed Stussy dunk HIs from 2001. The gumsole below the white midsole is a nice addition to the shoe as well.
The Dunk low is a CL (comfort lining) model has a nice charcoal colorway on the mid, swoosh, and toe that provides a counterpoint with the more aggressive yellow-speckled black suede. This shoe may not garner the attention of the Gucci-inspired dunk, but it holds its own as well. Available now at Mercer 21.
