Standard Hotel x DC x SE Racing PK Ripper Fixed Gear Bike

As the saying goes, the third time is the charm. In this, the 3rd installment of an ongoing project between DC and bike specialist SE Bikes, the newly opened Standard Hotel New York was chosen to be the next collaborator.   Adorned in the hotel’s signature motifs, matte-black with sleek gold accents, the PK Ripper Fixed Gear Bike features custom leather seat embossed with Standard Hotel logo, gold front rim, along with logo badge on seat post, also in gold.   Unlike the “traditional”   fixed gear model, the Standard Hotel variant comes with brakes and a convertible rear hub.   An easy conversion from freewheel motion for novice to fixed gear action for hard-core riders.

A total production of 20 units only, with 15 to readily available for Standard Hotel New York guests to use and 5 available for sale at the Standard Hotel online store at the retail price of $1,250 each.

anthony, have you even seen what people can do on theese bikes ?! its a total compliment to bmx, the fact that such an iconic brand will grace US with the privelage of creating such an amazing machine for US to ride.

Hey Anthony, It's called evolution, man. All of us who lusted over the neighbor kid's PK Ripper back in grade school have grown up. It's called SE Racing staying relevant with its grown up fans...and still catering to a young generation. Just to spite you (in a v positive way), I have just ordered one of these puppies. I will not let your Debbie Downer view on life "dilute" my optimism. Rock on SE Racing!! Ignore the muppets...

you can't call it a PK ripper.. Pk ripper was one of the most ionic race bikes of its time, that was way ahead of its time.. hands down one of THE Icons of BMX.. What muppet is diluting the SE Brand with this nonsense..
