The iconic 8-eye boot from Dr. Martens is one of the greatest canvas for collaborations and pushing creative envelope. As it turns 50 next year, the shoe looks almost like a spanking new model in a new Spring/Summer 2010 1460 TecTuff Express collection. Still keeping the classic 8-eye silhouette but looks deceivingly like canvas while it’s actually made of a new leather material known as TecTuff Express leather. Paired with clean white soles and white stitching, flat white laces and silver eyelets, these kicks are available in a fun plethora of seven colors for fun days of blossoms. via: Notes by Naive> Dr. Martens
I've just bought a pair of these TecTuff Dr. Marten boots and they do look really smart! But I have a question- how do I take care of them? With the material being some sort of leather I imagine it might need some sort of polish from time to time, but I don't know what sort! I do not wish to use the wrong thing and ruin them, but- equally- I want to keep them looking good.
