As one of the quintessential purveyors of luxury sneakers, Y-3 is on top of its game this season with a pitch perfect mix of style and sports with a plethora of 18 models. The usual black, red and whites make their appearances from dressier patent hi-top Kutetai to more casual sporting styles such as the Sprint. Some pops of color such as a bright bubblegum pop pink found its way onto the Ikuno and multicolored mix of navy, black, white and red stripes dresses the shoes in a gorgeously haphazard, devil-may-care manner. Another pair to note is a sleek Sokuo done up in black sequins over black soles and toe that is absolutely ready for party. Other than the galore of sneakers that vary from subtle to eye-catching, the Fall/Winter 2009 collection also features some great boots such as the Brigada that has a fold-over top, and the Soldado which has an old-school preppy riding boots look to it.
