Anna Finley is another of the chosen young designers of Doernbecher Children Hospital who participated in the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle VI project. She has chosen to use the Air Max Zenyth as a base shoe to lace her creative thoughts all over it. Anna looks at life in technicolor and it definitely shows in the end result which is brightly colored and shiny sneakers.
Featuring all over the shoes are pop aesthetics that only a child can imagine with pink and gold color dominating the uppers. Multi-colored shoe laces hold together the shoes that are printed with hand drawn illustrations and inspirational words. Metallic gold Swoosh makes a highlight on the side as well as the microphone embroidery on the tongue. To finish off the shoes in the most girly way are the inner lining and inner soles which is the fake fur material in shocking pink.
Anna is diagnosed with Atypical HUS (Hemolytic remic Syndrome) which is not well understood but in many cases it has been identified as a genetic problem due to an irregularity in several suspect genes. However in other cases the disease appears out of nowhere.
This shoes is available at all Niketown nationwide and online at Nike and funds will go directly to help the Doernbecher Children Hospital and benefit the children with serious illness.
