
Vans has collaborated with California’s HUF on a series of three Old Skool sneakers that will be released next Saturday, October 17th at the two HUF flagship locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Vans Old Skool by HUF is made with a canvas upper, full grain leather heelcup, a siped outsole, custom printed triangle pattern on the midsole, and custom HUF woven labels and embroidery. The collaboration sneaker will be released in Black, Navy, and Cardinal Red and carry a retail price of $85.
Nike Sportswear along with All Or Nothing Productions got together to create a video that documented the journey that 10 riders from all over world took from London to Paris, where they met Lance Armstrong as the 2009 Tour de France concluded. The project is a part of the larger Nike Sportswear CTRS project and the film is set to premiere in New York City in later this month (October, 2009).

The Matagi Pack that is due to release later this month features three models, the Terminator Hi, Air Macropus Lite and Air Baked Mid all with some artic hunting influences. Based on the concept of Matagi, a group hunter of the winter who specializes in hunting Japanese serow without using modern equipment. These shoes are crafted from different types of fur and leather, and are designed especially for warmth and durability. Fur-lined with rugged tribal styling and aesthetics, the Matagi pack will be limited for sale in Japan. Nike Sportswear continues to release various shoes from their “Try On” pack including this newest Blazer High LE that is exclusive to the Nike Sportswear store located at 21 Mercer Street in New York City. This new Blazer High LE uses the same materials and color as the previous shoes from the Try-On pack such as the Dunk High Supreme that was released a few months ago.
