Earlier this year we saw some images of an upcoming collaboration between COMME des GARÇONS’ COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT and heritage Swedish sneaker label, Tretorn. The collaboration fuses Tretorn’s Scandinavian penchant for simplicity and COMME des GARÇONS’ quirky design sensibility. The pack of products include three models of sneakers, Nylite, T56 High and T56. All sneakers are kept modern and classy in all white with colored piping or lining. The only adornments to the sneakers are tags of words such as “Himalaya”, “Spirit”, “Training” and “Freedom”. Not too difficult to put together to get the gist of what both labels are trying to get at with this collaboration. The sneakers are due to drop very soon this Saturday at BLENDS OC, so do remember to check them out on the weekend!
