Perhaps the rain on the first day which postponed Jay Z and Alicia Keys’ scheduled performance for the first game of World Series 2009 was a blessing in disguise, since the duo performed at Yankees’ wining game just last night (after a first game defeat on Wednesday). The duo performed their hit song, “Empire State of Mind” and the national anthem yesterday at the second game where Yankees finally rebuffed their previous loss and scored a victory.
