I like the design. Not as good as the Zoom Kobe IV, but I am buying these shoes but not this color, I'm going to buy the Dream Team colors. I feel like this was rushed, they could've done better.
Kobe is killin’ it on the court this year again, and his signature shoe is doing the same. We’ve seen other Lakers colorways of the Zoom Kobe IV model, like the “Four Rings” model, and now we have a Zoom Kobe V model that incorporates the famed uniform well. This model incorporates a concord snakeskin material above the sole and near the laces–a material we don’t usually see on basketball sneakers. The black midfoot features the use of flywire with a painted gold swoosh that plays well off of the gold mesh heel. We saw the “Chaos” version of the Zoom Kobe V last week, and this “Away” version is certainly more palatable most sneaker fans. via: Marqueeole
