Prada Prada Book

It has been three decades since Miuccia Prada inherited the quintessential Italian label, Prada, that has since then expanded beyond fashion and accessories and became the valent vanguard for fashion, art, architecture, cinema and communications. Tracing the development and the company’s involvement in areas beyond fashion and style, the hefty 708 pages tome contains both information and creativity one can crave from Miuccia Prada herself. While the first part of the book stays rooted in delivering the company’s history and foundations with collages of Miuccia Prada’s “most directional shoes and bags, alongside runway shots”, the second part delves into Prada in terms of art, architecture, events, exhibitions and even the Rem Koolhaus Museum that is currently being constructed in Milan and due to complete in 2014. The hardcover book anthology of Prada comes in a matching slipcase, embossed with Prada’s logo and will retail for 100 euros at Prada stores worldwide. via: WWD
