While the British artist catapulted into fame for his series of animals preserved and suspended in formaldehyde, The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living, Hirst's wry sense of humor and dark wit carries through in his other work as well.
For his collaboration with New York's quintessential Supreme, Hirst the decks on his Spot painting, Diethylene Glycol. Playing off medical symbols and colorful dots to examine color, balance and repetition as a form of therapy, the decks are more laden metaphorical weight than your average deck.
