“I consider a fundamental shift in my approach to art…” declared Eric Haze as the artist prepares for the latest solo exhibition, “New Abstracts and Icons”, at New York’s Level 2 Gallery. An icon of the New York art scene, Haze has perpetuated the crossing between graphic design and fine art the last 3 decades. And at each juncture, the artist delved deeper into processes untried before. The result – a new set of personal “vocabulary” in forms of graphics, icons, and silhouettes.
Join the artist this Thursday, November 19th, for the opening of this new venture. The show will also serve as an inaugural exhibit for the new 2500 square-foot Level 2 Gallery at the Union Square neighborhood. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at the opening reception with live music provided by DJ A-Trak and DJ Neil Armstrong. The exhibition will be ongoing till December 10th.
