Despite the -10 temperature, little over 100 people dropped by SoHo neighborhood of New York last Thursday evening to mark the opening of the special Hurley x Pendleton Pop-Up Store. Situated within SATURDAYS, the newly opened surf shop (Yes! a surf shop in middle of NYC) and the only surf shop in borough of Manhattan, the collaborative collection not only encompassed the classic Boardshirt – in Pendleton flannel shirts with the special Hurley plaid pattern, but hats, outerwears, and commemorative t-shirts. The event also saw a urban version of the “beach clam bake”, with barbecue German Bratwurste and live musical performance by Magdyn Osh at SATURDAYS’ outdoor patio (ample heating units provided).
The Hurley x Pendleton Pop-Up Store will remain at SATURDAYS Surfer Shop till Monday, January 4th, of next year. So if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by for a chat, a quick espresso shot, and check out the collection before they’re gone!
