After the furry-friendly collaborative collection with Where The Wild Things Are, Opening Ceremony turns to one of its seasoned collaboration veterans, Keds, for more wild times this holiday season. Also, since the year is ending and Opening Ceremony looks to England after Japan for its next theme, the collaborative Keds Champion takes design cues from 70s British punk subculture. The classic plimsoll low-tops are dressed up in pony hair of zebra and leopard prints. While the upper is safari crazy, the lining is kept happy in a cheery flower print. The insoles feature the collaborative logo in a faded vintage design while the outsoles and laces are kept clean in white. A nice change after the very American bandanna and tie-dyed collaborative numbers between Opening Ceremony and Keds, these solid kicks just dropped at retailers such as Opening Ceremony, colette and Harvey Nichols.
This design is wicked! You definitely know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Great job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
