WHIZ Limited – 2010 First Release – Limited Edition “Felicity” Stadium Jacket

Founded at the beginning of the millennium with a simple desire to create “individual clothing” with a story, whiz had since a decade ago developed into an integral member of the Japanese fashion industry. Other than persevering the same philosophy towards design, whiz has another interesting tradition– every year, the label’s first release of the year would be a stadium jacket. To carry on the label’s tradition but bring a new element of surprise in, whiz brought Japanese design extraordinaire, Kazuki Kuraishi, on board to work on the limited edition “Felicity” Stadium Jacket. Kazuki Kuraishi is not only an indispensable member of NEIGHBORHOOD (NBHD), he is also the other half of fragment design and Creative Director of adidas Japan. Back to the stadium jacket, “Felicity” works the star motif from the Felicity release into the brightly colored stadium jackets in forms of embroidery around the collar. The jackets come in simple yet cheerful colorways of red and navy, each paired with cream and white sleeves respectively and are topped with an embroidery of “Felicity 76″ on the chest. whiz and Kuraishi paid extra attention to details and created matching piping and lining for the cuffs and pockets. The jackets come in an ultra limited run of 76 as a nod to “Felicity 76″ and will be available on Jan. 2. Release Date: January 2nd (Saturday)
