While we had just announced and reported on the upcoming February apparel and accessories release from Nike SB, here we get up close and personal at Nike SB’s strong suit footwear for the next month. The focus of February seems to spotlight on the P Rod models as the Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 3 and Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 2.5 both come in fresh new shades. While the 2.5 stays cool and basic in all black (from laces to upper to Swoosh), the only pops of color are the red on tongue and white on soles. For those seeking more color within the P Rod family, the Nike Zoom Paul Rodriguez 3 comes in a sapphire blue upper mixed in with a safari printed heel and toe, contrasting with the white Swoosh, heel tab, tongue and soles. The colorways match the accompanying apparel release perfectly, staying with a streetwise blue, red and black palette.
Other key pieces worth looking at includes the popular deck shoes inspired Nike Zoom Stefan Janoski SB in a very mature and tamed outdoor palette of maroon corduroy with olive suede upper. Easy wearing with a slight old world vibe, the new Stefan Janoski SB will go perfectly with khakis and give denim a fresh update.
Of course, the other SB classics such as the Blazer, Dunk Low Pro SB, Dunk High Premium SB and Zoom classic SB are also released in bright colors to prep for spring. Blue accents appear on all four shoes but are paired with different colors for different vibes. For instance, the Blazer stays cheerful in a bright yellow, gold upper with blue accents, and the Dunk Low Pro SB keeps it right in royal varsity red. Dunk Hi opts for complimentary colors in orange and black, while the Zoom Classic SB keeps in subtle with a darker grey upper.
All the kicks are due to drop soon at Nike SB retailers everywhere, so keep an eye out for a fresh pair to rock whether you are intending to skate or just wander around the city this coming month.
