Despite best efforts in the final set from Scotsman, Andy Murray, Federer sailed through the final with 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (11) to collect the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup trophy. In doing so also makes Federer the most successful player in professional tennis with 16 Grand Slam singles titles.
