COMPASS Footwear Trade Show Spring 2010 | Puck Building

After an extremely successful run of (capsule) trade show, BPMW, returns to New York City’s The Puck Building with a specialized footwear counterpart, COMPASS. COMPASS trade show is currently in its fourth season of running and continues to be on the forefront of the footwear industry.

Sporting a wonderfully curated mix of more than sixty labels, the tradeshow delivers a clear direction of where the footwear industry is heading for Fall/Winter 2010. The tapestry of labels vary in both gender and style, working from heritage labels such as Red Wing Shoes and Fred Perry, to casual progressive brands such as Creative Recreation, Opening Ceremony and Palladium.

These labels working in different styles and catering to different audiences are housed under one roof and delivered in a boutique environment which not only enhances the retailer’s buying experience but also help foster stronger relationships between the labels and their clients. All in all, COMPASS provides a comprehensive direction for the ever-volatile footwear industry and helps all to understand and predict where the world of footwear is heading–which is especially important when footwear has gained fast recognition as a quintessential part of an outfit. So if you are a retailer and happen to be in town tomorrow, do take some time and drop by COMPASS, and don’t be surprised if you find just exactly the new goods you are looking for.
