For sneakerheads, toy lovers, music fiend, the sartorial minded and those passionate all about all things urban, street and coveted, the annual All Gone book release since 2006 has been one of the biggest literary events in the industry. La MJC’s yearly anthology of the finest and most limited products of street culture is one of the most highly anticipated publication releases and after having been released in various cities around the world such as Soleboxx in Berlin and colette in Paris, the launch is finally hitting New York City for those on the stateside.
The official launch for All Gone 2009 will take place at Reed Space this coming Saturday on Feb. 13, and it is sponsored by Reebok, Kangol, Oakley, Staple Design (of course), Complex Magazine, Heineken and yours truly. DJ SOUL will be providing the soundtrack for the night. Since there the book, very much like everything it reports and encompasses is extremely limited as well (to a run of 1,000), it is best to get there early in person if you do wish for a copy to peruse or simply showcase on your book shelf. If you miss it, you might have to settle with the online version, and while it has the same content, it just isn’t quite the same as holding a tangible, wanted copy in your hands.
