The last member of the adidas Originals OT-Tech pack which includes five iconic adidas Originals models (same as the FIVE-TWO 3 pack) remixed specially for cyclists is the ZX Spezial. The ZX Spezial is a part of the adidas ZX family, which started from the ZX500 which was created in 1984 for long distance running by adidas designers, Jacques Chassaing and Markus Thaler.
The new ZX Spezial is designed after its predecessor, the ZX8000 which has won hearts and soles of fans since it was created. The ZX Spezial continues to feature the Torison System with a special desert boot inspired silhouette. The new ZX Spezial is slightly more intricate in color balance than the other models in the pack as it includes grey accents in three-stripes, midsoles and heel to bridge the black and adidas Originals blue. However, like the Nizza Low and the Super Star 80S, the ZX Spezial also features a playful jagged teeth print (for the ZX Special, it lines the tongue), injecting the otherwise basic, masculine shades with a little energy.
Ready for the triathlon (minus the swimming), the new ZX Spezial OT-Tech is now available online via: Mita Sneakers alongside the rest of the OT-Tech family.
