Kitsune Fall/Winter 2010 The Ivy League Collection

Think, a French boy attending Harvard in the early 20th century, and you will get just the picture of French music/design collective, Kitsune’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection– Ivy League. The Ivy League collection, as its namesake suggests, epitomizes American preppiness with classic American pieces such as the sports jacket, cardigan, denim and khakis. The layering stays American as light green plaid pulled over a matching cardigan, blue button down and khakis. However, the cut is decidedly French chic as khakis are front pleated, cut slim and cropped with cuffs. Likewise, plaid sports jackets are worn over tailored slim-fitted trousers and a rugby-inspired thick striped knitted scarf. Beautifully cut to fit immaculately with the fine French sartorial standard, Kitsune’s upcoming season is a gorgeous mix of old-school charm with contemporary French aesthetics. Once again, a strong and wearable collection for the urban scholar, enjoy the preview and look out for the collection’s release! Just remember to provide your own cigar, favorite brown liquor and Hemingway novel to match. images via: DM
