Completing the Supra NS line-up for Spring 2010 (which thus far includes the Cuttler and Assault) is the collection’s latest addition, the Strapped II. The Strapped II is modeled after its predecessor, the heavy-duty buckled-down Strapped (a signature model for indie record label executive turned celebrity DJ and industry tastemaker, Steve Aoki.) The original Strapped was introduced in 2007 reminiscent of a wrestling shoe-cum-strap on sneaker hybrid.
As opposed to the old Strapped, the redesigned Strapped II is whipped into a high-top frenzy with Supra’s signature oversize tongue, roomy width and the NS’s signature rugged rock-and roll aesthetics. The classic four-strap design persists on the new Strapped II with low-profile, upper-matching vulcanized soles. The Strapped II are dropping in three colorways for Spring 2010 in a minimalist bohemian black and white Acid Wash Denim, cool grey Canvas and the tough distressed Black Full-grain leather. The Strapped II come unlaces and the top is meant to be worn with a cool attitude with denim tucked in nonchalantly.
The Strapped II will be dropping over the next two months with the Black Full-grain Leather kicking off the shipment on March 1 and the other two on April 1.
