adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott Torero SS TT Jacket | Available Now

There are countless ways to fall in love with designer Jeremy Scott and his creations. They not only test the boundaries of design possibilities. They are also humorous and whimsical while some are blatantly bold without being confrontational. In the words of our editor, “they’re happy designs.” Indeed, this is one of those.

New for adidas Originals by Originals (ObyO) series from Jeremy Scott is the Torero SS TT. In essence a variant of the classic track jacket, Scott altered it to become “Traje de Luces”, the “Suit of Light” worn by matadors in the bullring. Embellished with oversize shoulder pads and adorned with enough sequins and tassels that would rival any matadors’ outfit. Yet, Scott searched out a balance, in this case a tone-on-tone color scheme which create a visually subtle outerwear from afar.

Each hand sewn and assembled, the Torero SS TT Jacket by Jeremy Scott is now available at Caliroots – Six Feet Down online store.

It would require a very special type of guy to pull this jacket off.

He’d have to be a fashion-forward urban type. A metro would look a little odd in this…
