A nickname for one Margaret Polk of Memphis, Tennessee and the love interest of pilot Robert K. Morgan, the Memphis Belle was a B-17 Flying Fortress Bomber that saw action over the skies of Europe during World War II. It was its endeavor of completing its 25 sorties, however, which made the craft and its crew legends. That was reaffirm by the 1990 movie bearing the same name.
Inspired by the story, SBTG set about to recreate the feel of aeronautical glory during that era by taking colors from the bomber itself in the form of greenish tint. Hints of red along with adversary’s camouflage and bullet holes all serve as the war-torn backdrop. It also interconnects the SBTG’s design theme and story of World War II. The Memphis Belle from SBTG Premium is now available in very limited quantity at RoyaleFam‘s online store.
