Last year, Fashion’s Night Out debuted around the world and painted an ephemeral, optimistic picture for the then desolate economy. As one of the biggest shopping and fashion events in the world, retailers extended their opening hours and designers took the night to host parties and reconnect with their customers. Since the event was a raving success (with approximately 800 stores participating in New York City alone), Fashion’s Night Out will be back again this year with full force and a limited edition collection set to hit select retailers in August.
In order to build buzz about the September 10 event, Fashion’s Night Out will be offering a limited edition collection to U.S. and Canada retailers. The collection consists of women’s tank, longsleeved tee, a men’s white short sleeve tee and a unisex hoodie. Forty percent of the proceeds from this August delivery will go towards the NYC AIDS Fund, and it’s not necessary for retailers to participate in the event to sell the collection.via: WWD
