The matrimony of one British icon with another, Liam Gallagher's Pretty Green has partnered with Clarks Originals to rework the latter's signature Desert Boot for this Fall/Winter 2010. In the Noughties, Liam Gallagher was not only the lead singer of Oasis and changing the face of music, he had also helped established Clarks Originals Desert Boot in the fashion consciousness of the youth culture back then.
This time around, Gallagher looks to update the classic Desert Boot a wider, squarer toe and a lower heel to create a slimmer, more contemporary profile than the original. Aside from changing the silhouette of the Desert Boot, Gallagher had also sought out the Steads Tannery of Leeds and adopted the tannery's premium Janus Butt Suede for its butter soft tactility and brushed, textured finish. This is the only shoe that will be made for Pretty Green's Fall/Winter 2010 collection, and it will be available in four colorways-- Champagne, Brown, Black, and a limited edition Green which will be sold exclusively at Pretty Green.
