Like its predecessors, the newest Gucci Icon-Temporary store in London is not only a one-stop shop for GUCCIsneakers, but it also houses 17 exclusive sneaker styles that are limited in production. As the store had just opened its doors last week, these sneakers are literally walking themselves out of the stores at the rate people are gobbling them up.
Some of the sneakers include a boat-shoe, chukkah inspired tweed GUCCI-Ronson sneaker created by Mark Ronson and GUCCI Creative Director, Frida Giannini. For the non-Ronson collaboration, the London Icon-Temporary limited edition sneakers live up to the loud and unapologetic aesthetics of the vibrant city which gave birth and nurtured the punk-rock movement. Some high-top sneakers are a little wild in leopard prints, while the others go for monochromatic color-block brights with mixed materials, and another interesting piece is the classic slip on but remixed with blue reptilian leather and white leather embosses with the Gucci monogram.
Even for the ladies, the label is going all out in colors and brings in neon bright accents for the high-top kicks. All the London exclusive kicks are tagged with a special embroidered tongue tag featuring the Union Jack. All GUCCI Icon-Temporary sneakers come with unique packaging designed specifically for London as well. These are currently available at GUCCI Icon-Temporary in London, so don’t wait to buy because they won’t be hanging out in stores for much longer.
