Trekking through the California landscape on two wheels for a course of nine days and 700 miles may not be Tour de France, but it is no longer just a test of endurance either. The premier stage race on the stateside, Tour of California, is more of a quest of both physical and mental willpower, and a test of faith and determination. San Francisco’s cycling collection, http://mashsf.com”>MASH SF, joined in the extremely elite and exclusive Tour of California (Participation is only allowed by invitation!) and rode with riders of the most professional and highest skill caliber. MASH SF’s trip has been documented with everything from photograph to video and tangible artifacts, and the relics of their journey is set to be exhibited at Project Space, a collaborative event space created by http://arkitip.com”>Arkitip and http://goincase.com”>Incase.
This exhibition follows up on Project Space’s debut exhibition,http://freshnessmag.com/2010/04/08/arkitip-x-incase-parra-exhibition-at-project-space-opening-recap/”> “Yes, Yes, Yes” by Parra. The exhibition will not only play house to video presentation and photography installation, there will also be an award ceremony and more.
