We can tell you that the new Lexus LFA (Lexus’ super car) is built with a 4.8 L V10 engine, has 345lbft of torque, revs up to 9,000 RPM and can sweep from 0-62mph in a mere 3.7s. And, we can even tell you that in comparison to the Audi R8 4.2, the Audi is slightly under-performing with a V8 engine, and needs 4.4s to go from 0-60mph (Not that it’s anything horrendous, really.). However, what we cannot tell you with jargon and numbers, is how powerful the LFA actually is, and one would need a video to truly understand what all these statistics mean.
Instead of clocking rounds at the Sebring, Lexus decided to showcase the LFA’s near superhero powers in another way– crack a champagne glass with the sounds of the LFA engine revving. If the LFA’s V10 engine can produce pitches of supersonic qualities, just imagine what the car can actually do. Or actually, imagination isn’y exactly necessary at this point since Lexus has already shown you, what the car can do.
