Approximately 67 miles away from London lies the city of Northampton, and in the town with a population measuring about 200,000, COMMONN quietly dresses the town with a carefully curated selection of labels such as Supra, Red Wing, Grenson, Trickers and Levi’s Vintage. Owner Mark Higgs, armed with good taste has recently collaborated with English label, House of Billiam to create two jackets inspired by Nike Air Max 90 Infrared.
Rooted in the great English suiting tradition but with an eye for the progressive, House of Billiam handcrafts bespoke clothing with English suiting fabric–but behold– there is nothing aged about their designs otherwise. This collaboration with COMMONN comprises of two jackets, a hooded reversible jacket and a classic varsity jacket. Both the full-zip reversible hooded jacket and varsity jacket are crafted with warm molten wool outer, and fully lined. The colorways are infrared inspired in grey and red. The reversible jacket features an infrared lined hood and pocket bags; meanwhile, the varsity jacket features infrared buttons and also infrared lined pocket bags.
These are the jackets, that like your Air Max 90 Infrared, will fast become your wardrobe favorite to be taken off the hangers most often. Pair with jeans and sneakers and layer over t-shirt for a quick, effortless pulled-together look. These jackets are extremely limited in number, perfect for chillier weather and we suspect, will strike a chord with sneakerheads everywhere. So, despite the warm weather, don’t hesitate to pick one up for later use at COMMONN.
