Jordan Brand had partnered up with a quirky, creative trio from Portland who had acquired monikers named after animals (whale, hippo and octopus to be exact even though accuracy doesn’t not help make sense of it), Undertow, to create a pair of one-off Air Jordan 2010 to be auctioned off to one lucky collector. To showcase the collaborative shoe which is clean in white but features an interesting safari-like print, with “UNDERTOW” stamped into the blue insoles, Undertow and Jordan Brand had come together to host an event featuring a night of art, music, and of course, great sneakers. Mark Parker of Nike is also an attendee at the event, and some key things to note include a great Air Jordan 1 poster created by Undertow, a selection of the trio’s art, and of course, the collaborative sneaker. Get to know the brains behind this collaboration, get a feel of the bustling event and their style. Check out the video after the jump, courtesy of our buddies over at Sneaker News.
