Sure, as Nike has so wisely rallied, everyone can write the future. Be it based on a goal, or simply buying a pair of shoelaces to help the less fortunate afford AIDS medication they so desperately need. But, to write the future of a city’s landscape? Now that’s something new. As a part of Nike’s “Write The Future” campaign, the sportswear giant has set up a large interactive LED screen a one of Johannesburg’s skyscraper, and you get to decide who and what goes on there. To participate, use Twitter’s hashtag “#NikeFuture” or facebook application to send in your headline about the day’s biggest playmaker. The selected participant will be sent a photograph of his or her entry and player lighting up the South Africa skyline. Now, how’s that for writing the future?
