This is a name that would probably resonate with shredders out there– “Chrome Ball Incident”. Created by Neil Bender, Chrome Ball Incident was a classic comic from the 80’s and today, it is a blog which features your favorite skateboarders be they blasts from the past or somewhere else. Paying homage to one of the key forces which helped shape the skateboarding scene, Nike SB has created a collection of Dunk High Premium and Dunk Low inspired by “Chrome Ball Incident”. While the colorway isn’t quite the “chrome” one would expect, these kicks feature the classic skate shoe four-tone overlay. The Nike SB Dunk Low version is quite cool in black, white, grey and blue, while the Nike SB Dunk High Premium currently available for purchase at Endemic in the official Urban Haze/Black Barley colorway features a pair of embroidered scissors which pays homage to the practice of chopping down a pair of high-tops to skate-friendly mid-tops.
