This week wrapped up in sad times for the stateside, as USA will be going home after losing to Ghana in the round of 16. Ghana secured its victory in extra time, and while the USA fans held their breaths, fingers crossed and praying for a miracle that the USA team seemed so apt at delivering from before, the time just ran out, and Ghana will be advancing to the next stage alongside Uruguay, who had beat out South Korea in round of 16 as well. However, all soccer talk aside, since there is nothing else we can do than put the defeat behind and come back again in 2014, the NBA draft went along pretty smoothly, and John Wall, as predicted, went to the Washington Wizards (so there may be hope and magic yet). Also, those who had pre-ordered the iPhone 4, some might have ended the week happily with a new sleek, black iPhone 4 in hand, so the soccer loss might not have been such a big blow. After all, life does look better on a high resolution screen– be it good news or bad. This week, Freshness was at the front line of things that went on around the world, including the launch of a new Dee & Ricky x G-Shock GA-110, the opening of Man Is In The Forest and the crazed snaking lines outside BAPE Pirate Store and Apple Store. Catch up, and have a great rest of the weekend!
