KAWS Exhibition at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum | Opening Recap

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, Connecticut proudly hosted KAWS’ first solo museum exhibition, which opened this past weekend. The museum exhibition displays a number of different pieces including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and toys by Brian Donnelly better known as KAWS. The exhibition showcases both new and old pieces that give a great retrospective into the career of KAWS from when he started in the early 1990’s up through today where he has gone on to create various forms of art that are inspired by some of the most iconic and recognizable entertainment and marketing characters of our generation. Additionally the gallery served as a preview for one of the more interesting pieces we’ve seen from KAWS, this collaboration Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket vinyl with Disney and MEDICOM TOY. via: Arrested Motion
