In his latest exhibition, HUMAN TRAFFICKING , toy designer REGGIEKNOW explored the vices we all have, vanity and keeping up with appearances, with customized 12-inch figurines – an indirect critique of our misconstrued concept between actual needs and fanciful desires. In addition, the exhibit is a satirical reference to how we have become “slaves to fashion” and live well beyond our means. Set to premiere at the new TT Underground by Toy Tokyo this Thursday, July 8th, in conjunction to Toy Tokyo’s 10th anniversary. HUMAN TRAFFICKING: Figures Slave For Fashion is a fascinating display of an exposition on contemporary lifestyle through the medium of toy designs, a show not to be miss.
